Everyone has a story; it's time to tell yours

Have you ever felt a yearning to capture your story for future generations, but have no idea where to start. I hear it all the time: 'I'm not a writer!'

The truth is there has never been a better time to write and publish your memoir, whether you only want to share it with the family or you feel it deserves a wider audience. And you don't need to be a writer in order to do so.

David’s ability to listen without knowing or judging ... is a true gift.

By working with a professional writer, you don't need to write a word if you don't want to. We can sit down and talk through your stories in a series of interviews, which I'll then have transcribed to provide the 'raw material' for your book. I'll then rework all that material into a manuscript that is highly readable and will entertain your family, and perhaps a wider audience, for years to come.

If you prefer to have a go at the writing yourself, that's fine. I'm happy to work with you in whatever way you are most comfortable with, and to find an approach that will suit your budget as well.

And when we've got the manuscript written, I can help you get the words into the form of a printed book at minimal cost. If your story has commercial potential, I can also help you get started on the road to trade publication. It all depends on what you want to do.

The best way to get started is to have a chat, so make contact and we'll take it from there.
