Sometimes the challenge with getting your book done isn’t with the writing – it’s with the finishing. I regularly meet people who’ve put their heart and soul (and most of what they know) into a draft manuscript, only to realise that what they’ve got is either too much, or it’s just not ‘flowing’ right.

I can help. I’ll work with you to really hone in on who your intended audience are, to refine (and reorganise, if necessary) the words you’ve already written and to smooth out the writing so that your readers will enjoy what you have to say and really get the message you want to convey.

As a professional writer, I’m dealing with challenges of audience, structure and accessibility all the time. If you want me to use those skills to rewrite what you’ve done, I can do that. But I’m equally happy to simply spend a couple of hours with you assessing where you’re at and providing ideas and advice on what to do next. How much I get involved is entirely up to you.
